Delete Your Account

Account & Data Deletion Request

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your TRAINIO account and all associated data, you can do so using the methods described below.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Account Information: Email address, username, and authentication data
  • Profile Data: Age, gender, fitness level, goals, equipment preferences, and injury information
  • Workout History: All logged workouts, exercises, sets, reps, and weights
  • Workout Plans: All custom and AI-generated workout programs
  • Progress Photos: Any body photos you uploaded to track progress
  • AI Chat History: All conversations with the AI coach
  • Wearable Data: Synced data from connected Wear OS devices
  • Subscription Data: Your subscription will be cancelled (you may need to also cancel via Google Play)
⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your workout history and progress data will be lost forever.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the TRAINIO app
  2. Go to Profile (bottom navigation)
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
  4. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm your decision

Your account will be deleted immediately.

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  • The email address associated with your TRAINIO account
  • Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent

Processing Time

In-app deletion: Immediate
Email requests: Within 30 days of receiving your request

We may retain certain data for a limited period as required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes), but this data will not be associated with your identity.

Cancel Your Subscription

If you have an active TRAINIO Premium subscription, please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription with Google Play. To avoid future charges, please also cancel your subscription:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find TRAINIO and tap Cancel subscription
